 The photographic exhibition of Manolis Metzakis and Efi Psilaki, “Nikos Kazantzakis meets El-Greco”will be in Preveza from 31 of January until 14 of February 2009. The inauguration of the exhibition will be done by the Minister Mr. Vlahos Georgios.  

Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete came out with a new photo album, titled “18 Photographers-International Exhibitors”. In this photo album each photographer participates with photos awarded or accepted in international photo exhibitions with FIAP patronage. The inauguration of the new clubroom and gallery of Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete took place on Wednesday 17/12/2008 in Katehaki 11 st.    

Presentation of the new photographic album of Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete titled “18 Photographers-International Exhibitors” took place on 17/12/2008. The presentation was made by the well known reporter and writer Mr. Nikos Psilakis.

Eight new acceptances  from the international exhibition of fine art photography “AL-THANI” from Austria.  The acceptances photos are: Coffee house keeper El-Greco Siesta The factory Cretans #1 Mothers and sons Longji The smoker

Donation of three photos to the International Museum of Photography  AFOCER which is located in Cerdanyola del Valles in Catalunya of Spain. These fine art photographs have been donated after request of the museum. The photos are: The Beggar, El–Greco and Cretans #1.

18 new acceptances from International Salons of Art Photography from France, Italy, Argentina, Hungary and U.S.A. The accepted photos are: The workman, Longji, The smoker, In the factory, Hippopotamus,  A different society, Rice factory, The beggar, 16th century, Declination #2 and Eyes.

Participation with 25 photos, dimension 50 x70 cm, in the biggest ever photographic exhibition all over the world. The exhibition took place in city Guiyang of China. Were exhibited 110.000 photographs all over the city.
