he opening ceremony of the GPU Members Exhibition, “City Speaks,” was held at the Qatar Photography Center in Doha.
The exhibition coincided with the official accreditation of the Qatar Photography Center as an approved Photography Center of the Global Photographic Union (GPU), as well as the accreditation of its representative in Qatar and person in charge of the GPU exhibition Center, Mr. Abdullah AlMesleh.
This milestone event underscores the growing importance of photography as an art form and reinforces ongoing efforts to support, promote, and develop photographic creativity. It also marks a significant step in strengthening cultural and artistic connections between the Global Photographic Union and photographers in Qatar, fostering collaboration, exchange, and greater international visibility for local artists.
