At the Gala Dinner of the 6th GPU Photo Festival 2023 in Kyrgyzstan, GPU was honored to have as guests Mr Samat Shatmanov Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Director of the Department of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic as well as Mr Nurjigit Kadyrbekov Deputy of the Kyrgyz Republic assembly.
Mr Manolis Metzakis, president of GPU, offered Mr Shatmanov and Mr Kadyrbekov GPU honorary presents and expressed his sincere gratitude for their presence on behalf of GPU. Additionally, he highlightened the importance of the GPU photo festival in Kyrgyzstan which gives prominence to the tourism of the country.
Mr Samat Shatmanov and Mr Nurjigit Kadyrbekov expressed their gratitude to all GPU photo festival participants, to the GPU GB and to GPU vice president Mr Saeed Al Shamsi in particular, for his initiatives and coordination of this particular photo festival.
Additionally, they reffered to the efforts and goals of the Kyrgyz Republic to become a more popular touristic destination and thanked GPU for it’s contribution to these goals.
