 E.FIAP/platinun highest artistic title award by the international federation of artistic photography (FIAP).   After a series of successes, with acceptances and awards, in international exhibitions of artistic photography, FIAP has awarded Metzakis Manolis the E.FIAP/platinum title. This E.FIAP/p title is the 1st  one that has been awarded to a Greek artistic photographer.

After the elections that took place in Brussels on April 22 2012, Metzakis Manolis UPICR3,  UPI ZEUS, EFIAP/p, ESFIAP, PSA2*, was reelected president at the Governing Board of United Photographers International (UPI). Along with him, Nikiforakis Polichronis UPI CR3, UPI ZEUS, EFIAP/b, ESFIAP, PSA3* was reelected as General Secretary of United Photographers International (UPI).

 During his stay in Konya of Turkey he became member of the photographic club Sille Sanat Sarayi. Its President Mr. Reha Bilir awarded Metzakis Manolis with the  photographic distinction "Hon SSS"

Reelection in the Directory Board of the Hellenic Photographic Society of Crete in the position of its President. This year will be the 21st in the Directory Board of HPSC. Eight years as General Supervisor and twelve years as President.
